His name is Jack. He is a Jack Russell Terrier. He is 7 months old. He was given to us by someone who was moving out of state and were unable to take him with them. We got him on Friday and so far he has been the sweetest dog. He has had a few accidents but we are working on that. He was petrified of us at first. You could not move or else he would take off and he would not come near us. He is really loving Ellie and had not barked at all until today. Ellie and I went to the store and when we got back he was so excited and that started jumping and barking and scratched Ellie's arm pretty good. Good thing we bought some nail clippers when we went to the store. I hope he stays as calm as he is because he will just lay with you rather than jumping all over you. We need to start on some training because I don't think that he had any training. He loves the cage thing that they sent with him. If he gets overwhelmed he will just go in there. He has slept in there at night and absolutely no problems.

Super cute puppy, we can't wait to meet Jack. I think it is great that you got a dog for the kids. Every child needs a pet to love and play with. I'm sure Jack will love having a playmate too.
