We live on the green part.
I was reading Ellie a book tonight and there was a horse on one of the pages. She said, "That horse looks like my pink horse. It lives on Earth on the green part." So I asked what lives in the blue part. She said "Penguins, otters, dolphins, turtles." I was shocked that she knew all of that! She tells me stuff like this all the time and I am just amazed. I just know that when she goes to school she will absorb so much. I think she is going to be smart like her daddy. Mikey will definitely be the one that has to help with the homework.

Exciting news!
Ellie pooped in the potty today for the first time!!!! I cried a little I was so happy. She is 4 years old and has been for the most part potty trained for at least a year but she would never poop in the potty. I have been at a loss as to what to do. The doctor said to not push and just be very encouraging and not make her feel ashamed. I thought this day would never come. My mom was here helping out while I worked. I was in the office and heard "G, come here, I am in the bathroom, hurry!" I heard something about poop at some point and went flying out of there. My mom and I met in the hall and ran into the bathroom. She was proudly sitting on the potty saying "I POOPED!" My mom was cheering, Ellie had a grin from ear to ear and I had big tears in my eyes. Now we need to try to figure out how to get rid of the nighttime diaper. We had told her MONTHS ago that if she would poop in the potty she could pick out a barbie. I believe she knows exactly which one she wants and Mikey will take her tomorrow to get it. I told everyone that for Christmas and her birthday to not buy her a barbie. Whenever we would try to get her to poop she would say, "I don't need a barbie."
Now I need to start working on Donovan. He has been talking a lot about his "peepee" and "stinky" so hopefully he won't be as hard as Ellie. It wll be so nice to have both kids out of diapers.
One more thing, Ellie asked me today if my baby will be a girl or a boy. How do I get her to understand that I am not having a baby? She told my mom that I was having "twos" (twins). We both laughed.

According to Ellie
According to Ellie, I will have a baby in my belly soon! She has been kind of obsessed with that lately. So today she told Donovan, "Donovan, mommy is going to have a baby in her tummy soon!" Hmm, how do you explain to a 4-year-old that if there is going to be another baby, it won't be for while.
Not enough energy!
Today I had so much I wanted to get done. The kids tore the house up this week while I worked and I just did not have time to keep it up. I have pressure from work to crank out more lines so I was really stressed out about work this week so I was not too worried about the house.
So today I started in our room and made why way to the front of the house. I took all the toys and put them in a big bin. I cleaned the kids rooms and then decided I would put another coat of paint on Ellie's walls. She is so excited to have her room all painted pink. Now we need to hang all the stuff on her walls. There is so much I would love to do to her room, but for now it will be pink and that is about it. Donovan's room will be a Philadelphia Eagles theme we just haven't started it yet. Ellie and Donovan then wanted a popsicle so I took the kids outside to eat them in the backyard. Well there were some weeds so I decided to get the weed killer and spray them. Ellie convinced me to clean out the pool so I cleaned it out and started refilling it. The kids played for a bit. I still had a lot to get done so I put Donovan down for a nap, which he did not take. Ellie and I picked up all the toys and put them in the big bin. I then vacuumed and pulled the couch out and painted the 2 walls that needed a second coat. By this time Mikey was on his way home from work so when he got home we moved the tv and I painted the last wall in the family room. It looks so good! While I painted Mikey took the kids out to swim. Then we all sat down and ate dinner that I had thrown in the crockpot earlier. I am exhausted. We put the kids down and I went and took my first bath in this house! The bath tub is so much bigger than our old one in the apartment. We have lived here for 4-1/2 months and I have never taken a bath! I love baths so I don't know why it took me so long.
So for tomorrow, I will clean the kitchen, fold the laundry, pick up the family room again, and then go through all those toys that are in that big bin. I think I will get rid of some of them and then I will put some of them in the garage so that they don't have so much to make a mess with. Hopefully I can walk tomorrow because I am really sore from all the painting.
Now wasn't that an all-over-the-place post! I am not a very good writer. After reading other peoples blogs I feel like I have a lot to live up to.
