Making Christmas Cookies

Every year since I was a little kid I have always made sugar cookies. We would roll the dough, cut them out, then bake and decorate them. We decided to do them last week. It was not quite as fun as I remember. Haha. This is the first year that the kids really helped and I guess I did not realize how much more work it would be. Donovan wanted to lick the cookies and Ellie would just pile the frosting on the cookies till it looked like a mountain of frosting. Usually I will make them and give them to people but this year they had been licked and were not quite as nice as they usually are so we will not be giving them out this year. Hopefully when they are older it will be a tradition that they want to continue and something that they will continue with their own kids.
