Finally!

At 4-1/2 years old Ellie is finally fully potty trained. We are SO excited. It has been a very stressful past year. I had been very worried but the doctor said that it would be okay. He gave me lots of tips on how to get her to go #2 on the potty. we had tried everything. He wanted us to do a sticker chart and list several things so that we were not focusing on the potty so much. We were getting ready to do it when all of a sudden she decided she was going to start doing it. We had told her the she would get a Light Sketcher if she went 3 times in a row. She started going on Wednesday and Friday she did it for the third time got her Light Sketcher! She was so proud. I am so glad that she is finally done with that. I asked her where she was going to go next time and she said to me "At school," in a very exacerbated tone. It was so funny. We had told her that she would not be able to go to school till she was potty trained.

Donovan has not been as successful. He did really good one day but then the next day he just wanted to throw toilet paper into the toilet. I think I am going to just completely focus on him on 2 of my days off and hopefully we can get him started. Hopefully he will be easier because I really want to get him into preschool soon.
